Bedford man arrested after threatening others with pocket knife

BEDFORD – A Bedford man was arrested early this morning on a charge of intimidation with a deadly weapon.

Bedford Police responded to a home in the 1710 block of C Street at 2:11 a.m. after a woman reported her husband had damaged her vehicle.

Bryon Watson

When police arrived they found 37-year-old Bryon Watson standing in front of the home with another male.

The female caller was on the front porch.

The woman told police that she and Watson had been arguing all night over the vehicle which culminated with Watson throwing a brick at the windshield.

Police told the woman there was nothing they could do about the damage because the two were married and resided together. This upset the woman who became combative and uncooperative .

The other male told police that Watson had pulled a knife out and threatened to stab him and harm his wife.

He told police he and his wife were in the kitchen area of the home when they heard Watson and his wife fighting in the bedroom.

They ran to the bedroom to see what was going on and that is when Watson pulled a pocket knife out of a drawer and pointed it at the male and said “I’ll cut you.”

The wife of the other male told police Watson said, “If anyone comes close to me I’ll  stab them.”

Officers located the knife and seized it.

Watson was arrested.
