UNDATED – IndyHumane is teaming up with North Shore Animal League America for Tour For Life 2021 – the world’s largest national cooperative, life-saving pet adoption event – in partnership with Purina®, for a weeklong celebration.
From Monday, March 8 through Sunday, March 14, all adoption fees are 50 percent off. All approved adopters will receive giveaways provided by Purina.
At this time, IndyHumane is facilitating adoptions by appointment only. Those interested in adopting are asked to visit indyhumane.org/adopt. The website is updated in real-time so all animals on the website at any given time are available for adoption.
If someone is interested in an animal, they’re asked to complete an application online specifically for that animal (general applications are not being accepted at this time) and choose a time frame during which they would like to receive a call from the Adoption Team. They’ll arrange a general phone counsel about the animal prior to scheduling a meet and greet.
This year’s events have been reimagined to accommodate COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Tour For Life remains committed to its mission of generating awareness of the plight of homeless animals. Tour For Life 2021 will run throughout March and April with weeklong events in 53 cities/towns in 37 states, spotlighting local shelter partners/rescue groups dedicated to finding homes for the animals in their care.
