(NASHVILLE) – A Nashville, Indiana business was severely damaged by fire Wednesday night.
The call came in around 5:56 p.m. sending the Nashville Fire Department and Hamblen Fire Department to the Carmel Corn Cottage located at 88 Van Buren Street.
When police and firefighters first arrived on the scene they found heavy smoke and fire coming from the building.
The business was operated for the last 20 years and suffered significant fire and smoke damage.
Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to other nearby businesses.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
