  • 6:11 a.m. Lift assist in the 250 block of Briarwood Lane
  • 6:52 a.m. Report of an erratic driver in a van at Springville Judah and Harrodsburg roads
  • 7:26 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Shawswick School
  • 7:32 a.m. Theft of a white Honda Pilot from the 1110 block of Sheridan Drive. The caller believes she knows who took the vehicle. Police spoke to the male and he did not take the vehicle. The female called 911 and reported she has located her vehicle. A friend had borrowed it
  • 7:41 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Needmore School
  • 8:11 a.m. 911 call hang up in the 11370 block of US 50 West. A toddler was playing with the phone
  • 8:47 a.m. Traffic stop at Mitchell Road and 32nd Street
  • 9:03 a.m. 911 call hang up in the 1340 block of Coveyville Road. It was an accidental call
  • 9:26 a.m. Request for animal control to the 170 block of Tarry Park Lane for an aggressive large brown dog running loose. The dog was in an electric fence and not aggressive
  • 10 a.m. Report of an erratic driver in a blue Bronco on US 50 West
  • 10:05 a.m. Burn ban issued for all of Lawrence County
  • 11:01 a.m. Report of illegal dumping of 30 to 40 tires in the 1390 block of Keith Road
  • 11:08 a.m. Request for animal control in the 620 block of Murry Holt Road. Report of four dogs and rabbits abandoned on the property with no food or water. The owner is in jail in Fayette County and a relative will remove the animals tonight. Animal control will check back on Thursday to make sure all the animals are removed
  • 11:47 a.m. 911 call hang up in the 430 block of Woody Farm Road. It was an accidental call
  • 12:04 p.m. Report of a suspicious female with a baby in the 380 block of Hillcrest Way. The woman appears to be under the influence. The female was transported to IU Health Hospital for a blood-draw and the Department of Child Services responded. The female was arrested
  • 12:05 p.m. Officers were out with a person on a lawn mower at Main and 6th Street
  • 12:25 p.m. A male was on station to report the theft of a welder in the 2490 block of Fayetteville Coxton Road
  • 12:50 p.m. Request for animal control in the 8530 block of State Road 54 for an abandoned dogs inside a garage. The dogs had food and water
  • 1:05 p.m. Theft of items from a vehicle in the 920 block of Walker Addition

  • 2:19 p.m. Warrant service in the 910 block of Meridian Road. A male was arrested
  • 2:21 p.m. Disabled vehicle at State Road 37 at the Avoca exit

  • 8:06 p.m. A female was just egged by two people in a black 4-door Chevrolet Malibu in the 510 block of South 7th Street
  • 8:18 p.m. Traffic stop at Doc Hamilton Boulevard, east of the bridge
  • 8:20 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a red Chevrolet Camaro on Main Street eastbound from State Road 37 in Oolitic
  • 8:51 p.m. Report of threats in the 600 block of West 9th Street in Oolitic
  • 9:11 p.m. Report a fire rekindled in the 660 block of Denniston School House Road
  • 9:26 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 100 block of North Industrial Parkway. It was a false alarm
  • 9:50 p.m. Overdose reported in the 2550 block of Ramsey Ridge Road
  • 11:09 p.m. A 19-year-old female was transported from IU Health Bedford Hospital to IU Health Hospital Bloomington for a 72 hour hold

Incidents – Sept. 17

  • 12:54 a.m. Report of a 35-year-old female unconscious and not breathing at the jail. Officials performed CPR and an ambulance responded
