(LAWRENCE CO.) – The Lawrence County Republicans will be hosting a “Car For Cops” Car Show on Saturday, September 12th with registration from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds.
There is no entry fee to enter the event. Those with cars, trucks, and bikes are encouraged to enter. There will be awards given in 13 categories.
Categories include:
- Best of Show – 1960-1980
- Best of Show – 1980-2000
- Best of Show – 2000-2020
- Best Antique- (Pre-1930)
- Best Classic – (1930-1960)
- Best Pickup
- Best 4 X 4 Truck
- Best Street Rod
- Best Factory Muscle Car
- Best Motorcycle
- Sheriff’s Pick
- Chief’s Pick
- People’s Choice
The first 50 entries will receive a dash plaque. The awards will be given out at 5:00 p.m.
“We are hoping for good weather as this is an outside event. But, we want everyone to come out and enjoy the whole day with us,” said Scott Smith, an organizer of the event.
