(BEDFORD) – Two people were arrested Tuesday morning after Bedford Police officers were called to Rural King after a report of a shoplifter.
“While en route officers received a report that the woman had run out of the store and left in a yellow vehicle,” said Chief Terry Moore. “Officers located the vehicle and arrested both occupants.”

Police arrested 58-year-old Gilbert Napier who was wanted on outstanding warrants in both Lawrence and Boone counties and 43-year-old Dusty Napier on a theft charge.

Officers recovered all of the stolen items and returned them to the store.
