Nominations Close Friday For Governor’s Celebration Of Community Service Awards

(INDIANAPOLIS) – In partnership with Indiana Black Expo, the Indiana Civil Rights Commission (ICRC) will host the Governor’s Celebration of Community Service Awards Wednesday, August 26th.

Governor Eric Holcomb will honor six African American Hoosiers for their exceptional efforts across diverse fields – including education, community leadership, and civil rights – at the virtual awards celebration.

The celebration acknowledges the outstanding achievement of African Americans throughout the State of Indiana. These awards recognize some of the community’s unsung heroes enhancing the need for collaboration and understanding by all Hoosiers.
