Rockin On The River For L.I.F.E. August 1

(BEDFORD) – Rockin on The River for L.I.F.E. is scheduled for August 1 at the Bedford Boat and Sportsman’s Club.

The event is a fundraiser for Lawrence County Interfaith Endeavor Inc. – otherwise known as L.I.F.E.

The grounds will be open to the public but the clubhouse will be closed due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Admission is a non-perishable food item or items or a cash donation which will be collected at the gate.

“This is greatly appreciated,” said Donnie Hall, Director of Community Relations for L.I.F.E. Pantry. “The pantry is open to anyone needing assistance. We don’t want anyone in Lawrence County going hungry.”

To get assistant from L.I.F.E. you have to be a Lawrence County resident and bring in a driver’s license or ID and a utility bill or rent receipt to get signed up. You can then visit the pantry once a month, Hall added.
