(BLOOMINGTON) – The Performing Arts Series offers the Bloomington community numerous opportunities to experience the talent of its local artists. Enjoy free, outdoor performances in venues throughout the city.

The summer season means free outdoor concerts on Thursday at Peoples Park, Fridays at Switchyard Park, Sundays at Bryan Park.
On Thursday, July 9 Amigo Fields will perform 21st Century Americana at Peoples Park from 4:30 p.m. until 6 p.m.
On Sunday, July 19th at Bryan Park. The Hammer and Hatchet and The Long Seasons will perform acoustic bluegrass, folk and original songs, and stories. The back-to-back shows open at 5:30 p.m. with the main act beginning at 7:15 p.m.
2020 Movies in the Parks Series
Bloomington Parks and Recreation and the Ryder Film Series present free movies on the big screen in city parks. Movies being at dusk; see estimated start times. Please be aware that some of the movies have a rating of PG-13.
See “Toy Story 4”, our featured float-in movie at Bryan Park on Friday, July 17. Admission to this movie is $5 per person; daytime pool admission does not include the movie admission. Floating ONLY during the movie; swimming is not permitted during the show. Pool doors open for movie admission at 8:30 p.m.
