Orleans Farmers Market Opens Saturday

(ORLEANS) – Orleans Farmers Market will be open Saturday from 8 a.m. until Noon on the west side of Congress Square.

The market will look exactly the same, but booths will be spread out. All vendors will be wearing masks. Officials ask that customers wear masks too.

There will not be any crafts booths on Saturday, but officials hope they can be added soon.

Customers will find farms and gardens goods like strawberries, eggs, grass-fed beef, Longhorn beef, maple syrup, plant starts, honey, snap peas, radishes, green onions, rhubarb, and lettuce.

From the home kitchens, there will be plenty of baked goods like angel food cake, cinnamon rolls, jam, jelly, cookies, brownies, cake pops, quick breads, candy, chocolate-covered strawberries, syrups (blackberry, strawberry, peach, shagbark hickory) and much more.

The market accepts SNAP.
