(ELNORA) – The Daviess County 4H Show is set for July 16 – 24 but will be held in a modified format.
Purdue Extension and the Daviess County 4H Board agreed on a plan to move forward a show with modifications to show livestock and animals in open events at the 4H grounds.
There will be limited seating in the livestock arena and social distancing will be followed. No livestock will be on the grounds overnight. Livestock will arrive, be shown, and leave the same day.
All exhibit building projects will be submitted virtually for judging. A slide show will be shown in the Exhibit Building on a continuous loop for the projects.
A dedicated showing will be held for grandparents or those considered high risk for COVID. Days and times for that will be announced later.
Livestreaming and recording of the activities and shows will be available with links available on the 4H website.
