(COLUMBUS) — The Bartholomew County 4-H Fair has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The fair board announced the fair, scheduled for July 10-18, will not be held in person. The plan is to allow 4-Hers to show their projects virtually. More information on that will be forthcoming.
“With requirements to enforce social distancing, full personal protective equipment including face coverings, temperature checks, and comprehensive tracking of everyone who is on the fairgrounds, the Fair Board felt that it would be impossible to comply with requirements and ensure the safety of those in attendance,” fair officials wrote on Facebook Monday.
