  • 6:23 a.m. Burglary in the 20 block of Lakeside Estates. Four males were outside of the home and ran into the woods
  • 9:15 a.m. 911 call in the 1550 block of Payton Road. The calls says they have a new phone and it was an accidental call
  • 9:22 a.m. Police made extra patrols in the 180 block of Spencer Pike Road
  • 9:51 a.m. 911 call at State Road 37 and Zikes Road. Monroe County Sheriff’s Department was alerted
  • 10:12 a.m. Controlled fire in the 1320 block of Beaver Creek Road
  • 10:15 a.m. Abandoned vehicle at State Road 37 at Wesley Chapel Road
  • 10:20 a.m. Disabled vehicle in the 150 block of Fayetteville Williams Road
  • 10:35 a.m. Traffic stop at US 50 and Grandma Brown Road
  • 10:48 a.m. 911 call in the 2370 block of Dixie Highway. It was an accidental call
  • 11:11 a.m. Medical emergency in the 3200 block of Stonington Road. An 83-year-old male is having trouble breathing
  • 11:43 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1000 block of Greer Lane. An 85-year-old person was unconscious
  • 12:06 p.m. Controlled fire in the 890 block of Oolitic Road
  • 12:34 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 6960 block of State Road 54 West
  • 12:53 p.m. Field fire in the 1320 block of Younger Road. Pleasant Run Volunteer Fire Department responded
  • 12:57 p.m. 911 call at State Road 37, north of the ramp reporting a man was lying beside the roadway
  • 1:45 p.m. Request fro animal control to the 370 block of Poplar Trail in Springville. The caller says they have some horses on his property and this is an ongoing problem
  • 2 p.m. Controlled fire in the 530 block of Foxridge Drive
  • 2:01 p.m. Trespassing in the 1340 block of Washboard Road. The caller says his ex-wife is trespassing on his property. A no-trespass order was taken. The female was told if she returns she will be arrested
  • 2:05 p.m. Domestic fight in the 400 block of West Grissom Avenue. The female left the home for the night
  • 2:26 p.m. Utility problem in the 6260 block of Sand Pit Road. The caller says he was mowing a friend’s yard and ran over what he believes is an old telephone line that is sticking out of the ground
  • 2:42 p.m. Citizen dispute int he 20 block of Fleetwood Addition. The neighbor is threatening to throw a rok at the call and beat up his 9-year-old daughter and then threatened to shoot him
  • 3:22 p.m Controlled fire in the 1620 block fo Beaver Creek Road
  • 4:01 p.m. Citizen dispute in the 2820 block of Avoca Eureka Road. The caller says a man is blocking his vehicle with his vehicle and stepped outside of the home with a scoped rifle. The male says he is there to exchange his child with his ex-girlfriend. The woman says it is not the male’s weekend to have the child. The resident says he was just retrieving the gun from his vehicle and not threatening anyone
  • 4:35 p.m. A woman says her ex-husband is traveling to Farmers Market on US 50 and State Road 446 to exchange their children and the woman says he sounded intoxicated on the phone. The male is in a white Chevrolet Impala and she doesn’t want the children in his vehicle if he is intoxicated
  • 4:54 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle at Lawrenceport and Stonington roads. The vehicle was gone when police arrived
  • 5 p.m. Countywide Volunteer Fire Department radio check
  • 5:44 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a dark blue Jeep Grand Cherokee southbound on Hoosier Avenue
  • 5:52 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1250 block of Rariden Hill. A 36-year-old was ill
  • 6:09 p.m. Traffic stop in the 5170 block of State Road 58 West. A female was issued a citation for driving while driver’s license suspended and speeding and the vehicle was towed
  • 6:23 p.m. Medical emergency in the 2060 block of Tripleton Pike. A 58-year-old male collapsed was down
  • 7:46 p.m. Domestic fight in the 8340 block of State Road 54 West. Dispatch received multiple calls about multiple people screaming at each other. Nothing was going on when police arrived
  • 7:53 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a black Dodge Neon that spun out in the median and continued northbound on State Road 37 at Oolitic Road
  • 8:02 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37, north of Sinclair service station
  • 8:05 p.m. 911 call in the 470 block of Sugar Hill. It was an accidental call
  • 8:12 p.m. Traffic stop at Woodville Road and State Road 37
  • 8:13 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 54 and Rueter Lane

  • 10:26 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a 12-year-old boy at a home in the 420 block of West Oak Street. The male caller says the boy’s mother is intoxicated and his child has called him multiple times
  • 10:29 p.m. Agency assist on an accident report at Bedford Police Department
  • 10:40 p.m. Agency assist at 16th and H streets
  • 10:48 p.m. Noise complaint in the 730 block of Thompson Lane. The caller heard gunshots for an hour. The caller was told there is nothing illegal about someone shooting a gun on their own property
  • 11:21 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Main Street in Oolitic
  • 11:37 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at the Orange County line
  • 11:43 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and 16th Street
  • 11:55 p.m Traffic stop at State Road 158 at Salt Creek bridge

Incidents – Nov. 11

  • 12:03 a.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 170 block of Jr. Phillips Drive. The caller says there are two vehicle and numerous people outside of his campe then hung up. A second male called reporting the first caller appears to be on some type of drug. The male is on the second caller’s property and refusing to leave. The male was taken to IU Health to be medically evaluated and then after being cleared was arrested on meth charges
  • 12:22 a.m. Report of an erratic driver in a tan Chevrolet pickup northbound no State Road 37 at Trogdon Lane
  • 1:17 a.m. Traffic stop in the 2610 block of 16th Street
  • 1:33 a.m. Abandoned vehicle in the 300 block of Mill Creek Road
  • 2:06 a.m. 911 call reporting an erratic driver in a silver Chevrolet Trail Blazer southbound on State Road 37 at Fifth Street
  • 2:27 a.m. Agency assist with a K-9 at State Road 37 and State Road 58 East
  • 4:36 a.m. Officers were out with a vehicle at Doc Hamilton Boulevard
  • 4:42 a.m. Officers were out with a person found sitting on the sidewalk at Main Street in Mitchell. The person was given a courtesty ride to Camelot Courts
