(BEDFORD) – Veterans interested in continuing or starting their college education are invited to an informational session Sept. 30 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the StoneGate Arts & Education Center, at 931 15th St.
Officers from Veterans Affairs will answer questions. There will also be staff members from Oakland City University and veterans currently enrolled at the college to speak to those interested.
The discussion will include the benefits of the GI Bill for veterans’ use, including tuition, book allowance, and housing expenses.
Participants will receive a tour of StoneGate, and light refreshments will be served.
