
(BEDFORD) – The United Way Day of Caring is Saturday.
Volunteers that will help work at John Lowery Pool and the Community Garden are asked to meet Thornton Park at 9 a.m.
Those participating will volunteer from 9 a.m. until Noon.

Breakfast and refreshments will be provided.
The day will continue with activities at Harp Commons.
From 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. you can bring a donation and enjoy an evening of live music performed by Larry Summerton & Friends, and Loose Cannon and others.

Those attending can donate:
- Toiletry and feminine care items which will be donated to Hoosier Hills Pack
- Non-perishable food items which will be donated to Life Pantry.
- School supplies – 3-ring binders, notebooks, pens, and pencils.
Or you can make a $5 donation to United Way.
Residents can also drop off any unwanted prescription medications at the Take Back Station at Crowder’s Pharmacy.
