(BEDFORD) – Deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, first responders with Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department and Bedford Fire Department firefighters are working an accident at US 50 East at State Road 446.
Officers are asking motorists to avoid the area. Traffic is slowed while police investigate and will be closed for some time while officials work to clear the highway.
A truck is overturned and blocking the highway.
An AMR ambulance responded to the scene but left with no patients, according to our reporter on the scene.
