(BEDFORD) – Visit the library on Friday, Aug. 30 to pick up free native plants for your garden or landscape.
Plants offered include wild columbine, prairie dropseed, little bluestem, purple prairie clover, and Culver’s root.
This is part of the Times-Mail’s 2019 Tree Canopy and Understory Initiative, which aims to bring native plants with great ecological benefits to our local area.
Plants are given out on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
