Boil Order in Affect for Some Brown County Residents

(BROWN CO.) – Southwestern Bartholomew Water Corporation is reporting a boil water advisory is in effect for some of its customers in Brown County.

The alert was issued after crews repaired a water main.

The advisory will affect customers on Nelson Ridge and Georgetown roads, County Road 850 West, the west end of Baker Hollow Road and County Road 750 West.

Residents should boil their water for five minutes before drinking or using it for cooking or food preparation.

The advisory is under effect until 4 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
