City of Bloomington’s Holiday Market Accepting Vendor Applications from Local, Regional Artists

(BLOOMINGTON) – The City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department invites local and regional artists to submit an application for consideration for vending space at the annual Holiday Market, Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019 at Showers Common, next to City Hall at 401 N. Morton St.

The 17th annual Holiday Market, with booth spaces both inside City Hall and outside on Showers Common, takes place from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Arts and crafts offered for sale at the Holiday Market must be original and made by the applicant. Applications are divided into 10 categories: clay; drawing/painting/photography; fiber arts; metalwork/woodwork; glass; jewelry; natural materials; personal care; recycled arts; and surface decoration. Works will be juried and artists selected based on the style and quality of work, price of work, and variety of artists.

Artists may apply online at bloomington.in.gov/farmers-market/holiday-market, or call 812-349-3725 to request an application. There is a non-refundable, $20 jury fee per application.

To receive full consideration, applications must be received by 5 p.m. Sept. 6, 2019.
