  • 5:11 p.m. High water reported on State Road 54 West and North Pike. There are a lot of large rocks on the roadway. INDOT was alerted and said it was not an immediate traffic hazard and that officers could clear the debris. INDOT was advised officers do not carry brooms with them

  • 7:07 p.m. A female requested an officer to go with her to pick up a child from the child’s father in Oolitic
  • 7:11 p.m. Tree in the roadway at Watson Merry Road and US 50 West
  • 7:20 p.m. Animal control requested to State Road 37, south of Old State Road 37 for a possible injured dog in the median. The dog was fine and had made it across the roadway
  • 7:25 p.m. Burglary in the 1890 block of Lawrenceport Road. A male and female were at a home and stole several itesm. They left in a truck and the caller was able to get the license plate. The female was arrested at 7:55 p.m.
  • 8:09 p.m. Fight between two males in the 500 block of West Oak Street
  • 8:11 p.m. 911 call in the 5100 block of US 50 East. A child was playing with the phone
  • 8:21 p.m. A jailer was punched by an inmate at the Lawrence County Jail. A battery report was filed
  • 8:44 p.m. A message was delivered to a home in the 450 block of East Vine Street
  • 9:13 p.m. 911 call in the 390 block of Sasser Drive. It was an accidental call
  • 9:39 p.m. A male called to report a couple went to Jeffersonville to pick up a male who was in a rehabilitation center and had been kicked out and was to transport him back to the Lawrence County jail, but they stopped at WalMart first and the male took off and they have not seen him since and the caller does not want the couple to get in trouble for the male running off
  • 10:09 p.m. Deputies assist Indiana State Police on a traffic stop at State Road 37 at the Oolitic light
  • 10:46 p.m. Medical emergency in the 700 block of Crawford Street
