(BEDFORD) – The Summer Stage Series, hosted by Bedford Revitalization, Inc. in partnership with OnStage Productions, has updated their hours of operation for the remaining concerts in the 2019 season.
The concerts are FREE to attend and are scheduled the first Friday of each month at Harp Commons.
The concerts will now perform between the hours of 8 p.m. until 10 p.m.
Dave Pruet, owner of OnStage Productions, explains the reason for the change in hours. “With the summer season upon us, we decided to make this change to provide a more comfortable evening for the attendees with cooler temperatures in the shaded lawn area.”
The public is encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the free concerts this season.
Harp Commons houses the outdoor stage for the performances and also provides restrooms to the public in attendance. Attendees are encouraged to explore Bedford’s downtown merchants and restaurants before the show.
While the concerts are free for the community to enjoy, it is not free for BRI to host. BRI is seeking sponsors for the remaining shows of the 2019 season.
Collection buckets will be on display during the shows to help offset the investment made to host the concert series. Those wishing for additional information on how to become a sponsor can contact show coordinators Dave Pruet at 812-320-3283 or Tim Thompson at 812-327-5566.
