(BEDFORD) – Lawrence County Treasurer Paula Stewarts says the Spring installment of property taxes is due May 10.
The statements were mailed out April 11.
Current tax and credit card payment information may be found online at www.lawrencecounty.in.gov/treasurer.
Those paying taxes at the courthouse should remember the courthouse has a security screening process and you must enter through the north doors.
The Treasurer’s office will be closed five business days following the May 10 deadline to complete on time mail posting. It will re-open Monday, May 20th.
Lawrence County will hold their 2019 Tax Sale on Wednesday, September 10. Properties three or more installments in arrears will be certified for the Tax Sale the morning of June 28.
Following the certification, the property must be paid current to remove it from the Tax Sale.
The 2019 Mobile Home Tax Sale will be on or around October 30, 2019.
The Fall installment due date is November 12, 2019.
