(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – The Pacers four-game road trip started with a flat tire as they were routed by the Washington Wizards 107-89 to drop their third straight game.
The Pacers hadn’t dropped three straight games since December 2017.
Bradley Beal led Washington with 25 points while Jeff Green added 23 off the bench. The Wizards shot over 52-percent from the field and knocked down twelve 3-pointers.
For the Pacers, it was another rough night all around. Two days after giving up 40 points in the first quarter to Golden State they allowed Washington to score 35.
“It’s just low energy right now,” Pacers coach Nate McMillan said. “We’ve kind of lost our way here, and we’ve got to find it. Vic is not coming back and we’ve got to move past that and not look at what we don’t have but what we do have.”
Thaddeus Young led Indiana with 13 points while Bojan Bogdanovic, T.J. Leaf and Doug McDermott all scored 12.
The Pacers get right back in action tonight when they visit the Orlando Magic at 7pm EST.
