Clarence Archie Mitchell, 77, of Mitchell, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born August 22, 1940, in Mitchell, he was the son of Cleo and Velma (Pelfree) Mitchell. He married Deanna Allen July 19, 1974, and she preceded him in death August 10, 1992. Clarence retired from Childcraft and was a member of Pleasant View Church of Christ.
Survivor ss include his sister, Linda (Robert) Terrell of Mitchell; several nieces and nephews
His parents; wife; two daughters; and brothers, Danny Lee Mitchell and Thomas Cleo Mitchell, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 3, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Don White officiating. Burial will be in Saltillo Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
