Jeannette Terrell Hardman – Mitchell
Jeannette Terrell Hardman, of Mitchell, 75, passed away at 8:22 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.
Born July 26, 1937, in Orange County, she was the daughter of Willard H. and Edith Catherine (Fry) Terrell. She married Gordon Thomas Hardman March 26, 1956, and he preceded her in death January 29, 2010.
Jeannette was a homemaker and a member of Jacob Finger United Methodist Church and Tri Kappa. She graduated from Mitchell High School in 1954.
Survivors include sons, Michael Thomas Hardman, Mitchell, Mark Allen Hardman, Mitchell, Mathew Aaron (Cheryl) Hardman, Mitchell; daughter, Cathy and husband Mark Bullington, Bedford; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Ro Pettiner, Carmel, Donna L. Bowman, Springboro, Ohio
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 p.m to 7 p.m. Tuesday, and from 9 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Casketbearers: Andrew Hardman, Graham Hardman, Samuel Hardman, Cole Hardman, Clay Hardman, and C. W. Colglazier.

Clarence L. Francis, Sr. – Bedford
Clarence L. Francis, Sr., 63, of Bedford, died at 6:20 am on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital.
Born September 25, 1949 in Nashville, TN, he was the son of Paul and Mildred (Jordan) Francis. He married Leasa Patton on April 3, 1995 and she survives. He was disabled.
Survivors include his wife, Leasa of Bedford; children, Shane Francis of Bedford, Nathan Patton of Bloomington, Kathy Cox, Missy Taylor, Clarence Francis, Jr. all of Bedford; seven grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
Marilyn K. Ray – Mitchell
Marilyn K. Ray, 65, of Mitchell, passed away at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at her residence.
Born December 17, 1947, in Daviess County, she was the daughter of Hugh and Addie (Walton) Van Hoy. She married Gene Ray December 26, 1965. Marilyn was a secretary for Van Hoy Heating and Cooling and was a member of the Bride of Christ Fellowship.
Surviving: her husband, Gene Ray, Mitchell; son, Michael Ray, Bedford; daughter, Genia (Brent) Mitchell, Mitchell; grandchildren, Tanner Ray, Blaine Johnson, and Allison Anderson, Lex Mitchell; brothers, Bob Van Hoy, Mitchell ad Rick Van Hoy, Mitchell; sister Alice Isom, Mitchell.
Her parents; and brother, Michael Van Hoy, preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at Mitchell Cemetery with Bro. Greg Isom officiating. A meal will be served at the Mitchell Community Building following the service. Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
