Evelyn Megnin – Greenwood
Evelyn Megnin of Greenwood, formerly of Bedford passed away on Tuesday, December 21st at Silver Oaks Health Campus at the age of 85. Born in 1925 in Kokomo to Frank and Sarah Sanders, she had been married to George Megnin since1947, was a dental assistant for Dr. Buchanan and was also a physical therapy assistant at Bedford Regional Medical Center. She is survived by four sons, Jerry Megnin and his wife Sheryl, David Megnin and his wife June, Ned Megnin and his wife Shirley and Bruce Megnin and his wife Lola; one daughter, Ann Deweese and her husband John; as well as several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Frank O Sanders and one sister, Doris Sanders. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, December 23rd in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Wednesday, December 22nd and from 10:00AM until the hour of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
