Rachel C. Hudson – Bedford
Rachel C. Hudson of Bedford passed away Wednesday morning, April 28th at Mitchell Manor Nursing Home at the age of 85. Born in 1924 in Bedford to Bart and Lucile Short, she had been married to Theodore Hudson, attended Dive Elementary School and Oolitic High School. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Hudson-Mavon; sons, Warren and Tom Hudson; one sister, Annabeth Harter; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; two sisters, Ruth Glover and Roberta Franklin; two brothers in infancy; and several grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00AM in the Chapel On The Hill Church with burial to follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday, April 30th at the funeral home.
