Dorothy E. Boyle of Bedford passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 17th at White River Lodge at the age of 96.
Born in 1913 in Linton, Indiana to parents, Ora and Lydia May (Rogers) Fainot, she had been married to Garrett Buck since 1934 and later Reverend Esten Boyll in 1966.
Dorothy was a homemaker and taught at the Christian School of Faith Baptist Church in Milton, Florida where she was a member; she also attended the Free Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter; Kathleen Sue Rollins and her husband Norman; one son-in-law, Robert York Johnston; one step-son, William Boyle; two step-daughters, Jeanie Berger and Sue Kearn; nine grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; one daughter, Marilee York and a grandson, Steve Berger.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 20th at 1:00PM from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with a committal service to be conducted on Friday, November 20th at 3:30PM at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery near Dugger, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday, November 19th at Day & Carter Mortuary.
