Jeffrey A. Boruff of Brownsburg, formerly of Owensburg, passed away Sunday afternoon at Hendricks Regional Hospital in Danville at the age of 61.
Born in 1946 in Lawrence County to Maurice and Maribel Boruff, Jeffrey was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and retiree of the Internal Revenue Service.
He is survived by his wife Ellen, daughters Janice and Jennifer, brothers Ron and Steven, 7 grandchildren, 1 uncle and 2 nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter and two nephews.
Services will be held this afternoon at 2:00pm at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Owensburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until time of service today at Day & Carter.
