Rowana Harp of Bedford passed away early Wednesday morning at Stonebridge Health Campus at the age of 94.
Born in 1914 in Bedford to Grover and Malinda Henderson, Rowana worked at the Toggery and the Bernard Williams Drug Store, and was a member of Hillcrest Christian Church and the Business and Professional Women’s Club.
She is survived by her daughter Karen, 2 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lovell, brother Gordon and sister Mary. Services will be held Monday morning at 11:00am at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:00am until time of service Monday at Day & Carter.
