Anna Marie Root Clague of Conroe, Texas, formerly of Bedford, passed away Thursday at Conroe Regional Medical Center at the age of 89.
Born in 1918 in Pinhook, Indiana to Thomas and Cora Root, Anna was an alum of Shawswick Schools in Lawrence County, and Cincinnati Bible Seminary in Ohio and, along with her husband, led churches in Indiana, California, Arizona and Texas.
She is survived by her son Dana, daughter Donna, 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband Bill.
Services will be held at 1:00pm today at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow at Pinhook Cemetery.
