Dorothy Louise Henderson Pickhart of Mitchell passed away Saturday morning at Bedford Regional Medical Center at the age of 81.
Born in 1926 in Bedford to Benjamin and Rosa Grimes, Dorothy was a retiree of Mitchell Manor after working there for 28 years.
She is survived by her sons Larry and Jimmie, daughters Rebecca and Panda, sisters Betty, Catherine and Gertie, 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Farrell, and brothers Rollie, Harold and Ben.
Services will be held tomorrow morning at 10:00am at the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home in Mitchell with burial to follow at Mitchell Cemetery.
Visitation will be tonight from 4:00 until 8:00pm and again from 9:00am until time of service at Chastain.
