Doris E. Phillips of Bedford passed away Friday night at Bedford Regional Medical Center at the age of 86.
Born in 1921 in Rankin County, Mississippi to James and Eula Carson, Doris was a homemaker, member of Crossroads Community Church and volunteer for the Bedford Regional Medical Center Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, the Reverend Robert Phillips, daughter Sue, sisters Pearl and Ethel, brother William, 4 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Martha and Anna, and brothers James Junior and Franklin.
Services will be held tomorrow morning at 10:00am at Crossroads Community Church with burial to follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be tonight at Crossroads Church from 4:00 until 7:00pm.
