(BLOOMINGTON) – Women Excel Bloomington has a history of recognizing local, civic-minded women from various backgrounds and professions who mentor others and lead by example.
Through their actions and initiatives, these women serve as an inspiration and demonstrate outstanding leadership in all they do.
During this time of uncertainty, we could all us a little inspiration.
Take some time this week to nominate a woman who has gone above and beyond to serve our community and inspired others with their leadership.
The 2020 WEB Awards are tentatively scheduled for May 21st. Officials are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will adjust the date and format of this event if the need arises.
How to Nominate
Nominations may be made on the Chamber’s website, or by downloading the nomination form. Nominations must be submitted to the Chamber by Monday, April 13, 2020, at 5 p.m., either electronically or in-person.
Eligibility and Rules
WEB nominees serve as an inspiration, helping others to excel as they lead by example. They may be employed in either the business sector or a non-profit organization.
Other criteria include:
- The nominees must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Chamber membership is not required; EXCEPT for nominees who live outside of Monroe County, must be a Chamber member in good standing.
- Nominees can not be a past WEB honoree.
- Nominees should balance their professional contributions with demonstrated leadership through community service or in volunteer capacities.
