(SPRINGVILLE) – Firefighters from Perry, Oolitic, and Indian Creek Volunteer Fire Departments battled a mobile home fire in the 800 block of Reuter Lane this afternoon.
When firefighters arrived the mobile home was consumed in flames and on the ground.
Windy conditions caused the flames to spread from the home into the yard.
The mobile home was vacant. The owner, Cheyene Starr, lives in another home next to the property.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation and no other information will be released at this time.
Duke Energy and an IU Health Hospital ambulance also responded to the scene.
