Richard Paul Ervin Jr., age 67, of Paoli, formerly of Shoals, passed away on October 26, 2026, at the IU Health Paoli Hospital. He was born August 8, 1959, in Jasper, Indiana, the son of Richard and Sharon (Harding) Ervin Sr.
Richard attended Plainfield High School and worked at Indiana Furniture until his retirement four years ago.
He is survived by two children, Richard P. Ervin III and Yvonne Nicole Ervin; four grandchildren; two sisters, Vicky Miller and Lisa Lindsey; and one brother, Larry Ervin. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Cremation was chosen.
Arrangements have been entrusted to The Queen-Lee Chapel of George Funeral Care in Shoals.
