Mary Lou (Glasgow) Korvela, 89, of Bedford, passed away at her residence on October 28, 2026. She was born in Greene County, Indiana, on July 21, 1937, to Joseph V. Glasgow and Maude E. (Ooley) Glasgow. Mary married Kenneth John Korvela on June 18, 1958, and he preceded her in death. Mary was a graduate of Springville High School. She worked at RCA in Bloomington and PTS Electronics. She loved Jesus, Bowling, Parties, front porch sitting, her family, card playing, and giving the best hugs, her bubby.
Survivors include two sons, Mark (Pam) Korvela, and Greg (April) Korvela, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, two sisters, Judy Anderson, and Sherry Hardin.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Kenneth J. Korvela, Jr., and Brian K. Korvela, one daughter, Kimberly Lynn Korvela, three sisters, Anna Mae Parker, Helen Banks, and Margaret “Jean” Doane, and three brothers, Bob Glasgow, Joseph “Bub” Glasgow, and Perry D. Glasgow.
