PAOLI — A crowd of local residents and visitors gathered under picture-perfect autumn weather last Saturday for the Orange County Historical Society’s annual “Autumn Homecoming” event, held at the historic Lindley House in Paoli.

Attendees spent the afternoon exploring history up close, interacting with costumed re-enactors who set up a Civil War-era camp and various historical displays across the front lawn of the property.

As part of the day’s festivities, members of Team O.C. prepared homemade apple butter over an open fire, offering fresh samples to guests throughout the event. In addition to the outdoor activities, the historic Lindley House farmhouse was open to the public for guided tours, allowing visitors to step inside and learn more about the region’s rich local heritage.
