BEDFORD — Thanksgiving Day is about coming together, and the Becky’s Place Run for Hope 5K gives the Bedford community another reason to do just that.
The 12th Annual Becky’s Place Run for Hope 5K will take place Thursday, November 26, bringing runners, walkers, families and friends to downtown Bedford for a morning filled with movement, music and community spirit.
The race will start and finish at the Downtown Depot at 1401 J Street.
Whether participants are experienced runners, casual walkers or simply looking for a fun way to spend part of Thanksgiving morning, all ages and fitness levels are welcome.
The Run for Hope is designed to be more than just a race. Participants can enjoy music, friends, family and snacks before and after the event at the start and finish line, along with refreshments and encouragement during their time on the course.
The race will have a 1½-hour time limit and will be timed by ABTiming.
For participants, the event offers a chance to test their fitness, enjoy a Thanksgiving Day tradition and, most importantly, support the mission of Becky’s Place.
Packet Pickup
Race packets will be available for pickup at the Downtown Depot on Wednesday, November 26, from 1 to 6:30 p.m.
Packets can also be picked up on race morning from 8 to 8:45 a.m. at the Downtown Depot.
With the race taking place on Thanksgiving Day, the Run for Hope offers a unique way to start the holiday by getting outside, spending time with others and supporting an organization working to make a difference in the lives of women and children.
So grab your family, bring a friend, lace up your shoes and head downtown for the 12th Annual Run for Hope 5K.
