MITCHELL — The excitement of festival season continued as local youth stepped into the spotlight for the Junior Miss Persimmon Festival Contest, culminating in the crowning of a new queen and her court.
Zoey Maddox claimed the title of Junior Miss Persimmon Festival Queen, leading this year’s young court.
Joining Maddox as princesses are:
- Rhylee Blackwell, who was also honored as Miss Congeniality
- Norah Isom
- Abby Gratzer
- Maddy Shaw
The newly announced court will represent the community and participate in upcoming festival activities throughout the celebration.
