Live music and Youth Day highlight autumn events at Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market

BLOOMINGTON Marketgoers heading to the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market (BCFM) this Saturday, September 19, can look forward to a full morning of live entertainment alongside a wide selection of late-summer and early-fall local produce.

Saturday Circle Stage Lineup

The BCFM Circle Stage will feature two distinct musical performances this Saturday morning.

8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. The Heritage Hall Ramblers: An eight-member traditional Dixieland ensemble and affiliate group of the Bloomington Community Band, the Ramblers will perform upbeat classic jazz designed to get shoppers smiling and dancing.

10:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Bill Vincent: Following the Ramblers, solo performer Bill Vincent takes the stage to bring hit favorites from the 1970s and 1980s to life with his signature showmanship and energetic style.

Looking Ahead: Youth Day Returns Sept. 26

The market will celebrate young local talent next weekend during the sixth annual Youth Day at the Market on Saturday, September 26.

More than 30 youth farmers, artists, and young entrepreneurs will set up and operate their own stands throughout the morning. Participating youth will keep 100% of their profits, offering the community a chance to directly support the next generation of local business owners.

Final Weeks for the Tuesday Market at Hopewell Commons

With the 2026 season winding down, only two dates remain for the Tuesday Market. The next session takes place Tuesday, September 22, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hopewell Commons (630 S. Morton St.).

Free to attend, the Tuesday Market features seasonal produce, artisan foods, and ready-to-eat local meals. At 5:00 p.m., the Dicky James Trio will perform a live set of blues and soul music. Attendees are encouraged to walk or bike using the adjacent B-Line Trail; bike racks are located on both the east and west sides of the venue.
