City of Bedford lifts Precautionary Boil Water Order for Crawford Drive residents

BEDFORD Bedford City Utilities has officially lifted the precautionary boil water order for select residents along Crawford Drive, effective immediately on Thursday, September 17, 2026.

The lifting of the order follows necessary water quality testing to ensure the municipal water supply meets safety standards.

Affected Addresses

According to an announcement from Utilities Director Misty D. Adams, normal water usage may resume at the following Crawford Drive locations:

  • 1208 Crawford Dr.
  • 1213 Crawford Dr.
  • 1218 Crawford Dr.
  • 1219 Crawford Dr.
  • 1302 Crawford Dr.
  • 1305 Crawford Dr.
  • 1312 Crawford Dr.
  • 1315 Crawford Dr.

Residents in the affected area are no longer required to boil their water prior to consumption, cooking, or food preparation.
