MEDORA — Main Street in downtown Medora will transform into a sea of pink ribbons, community spirit, and shared purpose as the 17th annual HOPE Medora Goes Pink festival returns on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
What began nearly two decades ago as a localized effort to raise breast cancer awareness has grown into one of Jackson County’s most cherished regional traditions. While breast cancer awareness remains the cornerstone of the movement, the festival offers financial, emotional, and practical support to individuals fighting all forms of cancer.
Morning Kickoff: 5K Run/Walk & Community Parade
The festivities will kick off early Saturday morning with the annual HOPE Medora Goes Pink 5K Run/Walk, drawing runners, walkers, and cancer survivors from across southern Indiana.
Following the race, attention shifts to the heart of town for the featured parade. Floats decorated in bold shades of pink, classic cars, emergency vehicles, and marching bands will process down Main Street, led by local organizers, healthcare advocates, and honored survivors.
