NOBLESVILLE – Bedford North Lawrence recorded one victory in the Noblesville Invitational during high school volleyball action on Saturday.
The Stars (6-10) opened pool play with a 25-20, 25-19 loss to Noblesville (7-4). In the second contest, New Castle (8-1) rolled to a 25-15, 25-17 victory.
BNL bounced back to stop Western 25-11, 25-16 in the final round of pool play, then dropped a 25-20, 25-19 decision to Union County in the finale.
The Stars will host Martinsville on Monday.
