CRAWFORDSVILLE – The Franciscan Health Faith Community Nurse Program will host a seminar on elder abuse on Thursday, Sept. 24, at 11 a.m. at the Crawfordsville District Public Library.
The seminar will examine elder abuse in Indiana communities. Attendees will learn how to recognize the signs and types of elder abuse, as well as identify the risk factors for elder abuse.
Also, the appropriate reporting and resources available for someone in an elder abuse situation will be discussed.
The seminar is the third in a series of programs presented by the Franciscan Health Faith Community Nurse Program, focusing on important health topics.
