ORLEANS — Young readers and their caregivers are invited to nurture a love of books and build early literacy skills during Storytime at the Orleans Public Library, beginning September 8 and 9.
Storytime will be held Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. and is geared toward children ages 0-6 and their caregivers.
Each Storytime session will feature a fun combination of songs, rhymes, a story, and a craft, giving young children an opportunity to develop important early literacy skills while enjoying time with their caregivers and other children.
The fall Storytime schedule begins with:

Storytime will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings throughout the school year.
Families should note that the Orleans Public Library follows the Orleans Community School schedule. Storytime will not be held when school is out for scheduled vacations, including fall, holiday and spring breaks, or during weather-related school closures.
Parents and caregivers of young children are encouraged to make Storytime part of their weekly routine and help their children discover the joy of reading from an early age.
