SEYMOUR — After 26 years of dedicated service, Seymour Fire Lieutenant Craig Flinn has officially worked his final shift with the Seymour Fire Department and is beginning a well-deserved retirement.
Throughout his career, Flinn has served the citizens of Seymour with dedication, professionalism, and a steadfast commitment to protecting his community. His years of service have left a lasting impact on both the department and the people he served.
The Seymour Fire Department expressed its gratitude to Flinn for the countless hours he dedicated to answering the call and helping keep the community safe.
The department also recognized Flinn’s family, including his wife, Stephanie, and their children, Zach and Mitchell. A career in the fire service is a commitment that extends beyond the firefighter, with families often making sacrifices of their own.
Missed holidays, birthdays, family gatherings and countless hours spent apart are all part of the demands that come with a career in the fire service. The department thanked the Flinn family for the support and sacrifices they made throughout Craig’s 26 years of service.
