MITCHELL — Veteran entertainer Keith Allynn is bringing his acclaimed Neil Diamond tribute show to the historic Mitchell Opera House for an evening of classic hits, storytelling, and comedy.
The production, titled A Neil Diamond Tribute, tells the story of Neil Diamond’s iconic life and musical career using Diamond’s own legendary song catalog. Throughout the performance, Allynn seamlessly weaves in comedic anecdotes from his own life—including his unexpected career transition from a Top 10 Elvis Presley tribute artist to a Neil Diamond impersonator, a transformation he credits to falling in love.
Keith Allynn, a native of Branson, Missouri, has spent decades in the entertainment industry as a comedian, vocalist, and tribute artist. Before launching his current tour, Allynn spent years performing in Branson’s famed theater district, where his tribute show earned multiple local entertainment honors.
Known for his striking physical resemblance to Neil Diamond and an authentic vocal timbre that matches Diamond’s distinct baritone, Allynn delivers live renditions of classic hits like “Sweet Caroline,” “America,” “Cherry, Cherry,” and “Forever in Blue Jeans.” Beyond the music, Allynn’s stand-up comedy background adds a lighthearted, personal dimension to the biographical production.
