BEDFORD — The Lawrence County Redevelopment Commission (RDC) is scheduled to convene on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The public meeting will take place at 916 15th Street, Room 28.
Commission members will review routine administrative matters alongside several key county updates, financial evaluations, and property assessments.
Key Discussion Points and Business Matters
Among the main items on the agenda is the presentation of the annual Tax Increment Financing (TIF) report by financial consulting firm Baker Tilly. TIF reports outline how tax revenues collected within designated redevelopment districts are allocated toward local infrastructure and economic growth projects.
The commission will also hear an update regarding a Phase I environmental site assessment on the property located at 621 Main Street, as well as a status report on landscaping and ongoing maintenance for the county’s shell building.
Additionally, board members are slated to hold a discussion regarding financial support for the 2027 Lawrence County General Fund. This discussion will include reviewing a vehicle price quote intended for the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department.
