ORLEANS — Pet lovers have the chance to show off their furry, feathered, or scaly companions while supporting a worthy cause during an upcoming Pet Photo Contest fundraiser benefiting Riley Children’s Hospital.
This fundraiser invites community members to submit photos of their animals by August 8 at noon. Those who submit a photo will have the chance to win a painted portrait of their pet. Each entry costs $10, with all proceeds going to Riley Children’s Foundation.
To participate, entrants should submit the $10 entry fee through Venmo to Tyler-Kirk-33, or pay by cash or check. After payment has been made, participants should text a photo of their pet to (812) 865-2329.
Once all photos have been posted, the public will vote by liking their favorite photo. The pet with the most likes when voting closes will be crowned the winner; voting will be open August 10-15. The winner will then win a custom-painted portrait of their pet.
